The HXGN-12 gas fully-insulated, fully-sealed ring main unit uses an SF6 switch as the main switch, while the entire cabinet adopts air-insulated switchgear. It is suitable for distribution automation and is compact and expandable, with a simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking and convenient installation. Through sensor technology and a protective circuit breaker — coupled with improved technical performance and a lightweight, flexible assembly solution — it meets the constantly changing requirements of the market.
The main switch can be configured with an ABB SFG-type SF6 load switch, FLN series load switch, permanent-magnet vacuum circuit breaker or GE Power/NacVB vacuum circuit breaker, with both manual and electric operation. The unit suits AC 50Hz, 12kV power systems and is widely used at industrial and civil cable grid exchange points and power-supply terminals.
