Transformer OEM questions

Is Entogo a transformer manufacturer or a trading company?
Entogo is a Canadian company with its own factory in China — a vertically integrated plant of about 20,000 m², not a third-party supplier whose products it resells. Entogo Inc. signs the contract, provides engineering support and issues the warranty.
Can you build transformers to our drawings and specification?
Yes. Entogo builds to customer drawings, specifications and utility standards (build-to-print) or customizes its own catalogue designs — rating, voltages, taps, impedance, losses, windings, tank and accessories. Approval drawings are issued for your sign-off before production.
Can you supply private-label transformers under our brand?
Yes. The nameplate, labels, test reports and manuals can carry your brand. Minimum order quantity, branding and packaging are not published as fixed terms; they are confirmed per project in the quotation, and the engagement can be covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
What is the lead time for an OEM or custom transformer?
OEM and customized units follow the same lead times as catalogue products: 16–24 weeks for North-American-spec (ANSI/IEEE) builds, within 36 weeks when the order needs new cULus/CSA certification, and about 12 weeks for IEC/CE equipment built for export markets.
Do OEM transformers carry UL or CSA certification?
Transformers are designed to IEEE C57, CSA C88 / C9 and DOE 10 CFR 431, and can be certified to your market’s requirements on request — UL (cULus), CSA, CE or IEC CB. Orders that need new cULus/CSA certification ship within 36 weeks; timing and scope for your model and rating are confirmed in the quotation.
Where are the transformers made, and how does that affect Buy America projects?
In Entogo’s own factory in China. Entogo states the country of origin up front so you can plan duties, tariffs and project origin requirements — for example Buy America or BABA-funded work — before you order.
